Beauty Spells and Glamour Magic
Glamour is one of the oldest words in magic: originally it meant an enchantment over how a person is perceived.
Where glamour comes from
Scottish and Irish folklore describe 'glamour' as a spell over the eye of the beholder. Later grimoires added Venus talismans, rose water and planetary hours of Friday.
A traditional glamour
A small mirror is charged by moonlight, anointed with rose oil and carried. Before going out it is looked into once, with the intention spoken.
What beauty work is — and isn't
It is a practice of presence and how you carry yourself. It does not change your body, and it is not a cosmetic or medical treatment.
Commissioning
Our workings are cast over multiple days, in a dedicated physical working space, and the price of each listing reflects the time and dedication it needs. Where a situation calls for it we recast or add a supporting working, rather than leaving a brief half-finished.
Every spell on this site is commissioned, not bought off a shelf. Please message the studio before ordering so we can read the situation, tell you honestly whether we would take it, and suggest what to work first.
