Early signs, in the first days

• Dream activity. Either you dream of the target vividly, or they tell you later that they dreamt of you. Dreams are the cheapest channel for a working to travel through, so they usually open first.
• Repeating names and numbers. Their name surfacing in unrelated places, recurring number patterns, songs tied to them appearing without your choosing them.

Mid-stage signs, weeks one to six

• Direct contact after a long silence, often on a thin pretext.
• A mutual friend mentioning the target unprompted, or relaying that you came up in conversation.
• The target appearing physically where you are — a shared route, a venue, a coincidence too clean.
